Polyvinyl Chloride Network Cable Material (PVC Network Cable Material)

Polyvinyl Chloride Network Cable Material (PVC Network Cable Material)

1. There are three types of PVC cable material, respectively CM, CMR, CMP, customers can choose the appropriate material according to the use scenario and performance requirements, the company can provide personalized service according to customer needs.

2. PVC network cable material used in the production of a variety of cable, through ISO9001 certification and ccc certification, CM cable material in line with UL1581 standards, CMR in line with UL1666 standards, CMP in line with UL910 standards, our company has its own laboratory, equipped with advanced instruments and professionals, according to customer requirements to adjust product performance, Quality and service are able to satisfy customers.

    PRODUCT FEATURES

    1. CM (General communication cable): This type of PVC cable material is suitable for general communication purposes. It has the characteristics of high cost performance, good insulation performance, high wear resistance and chemical corrosion resistance.
    2. CMR (General communication cable improved): CMR is an improved PVC cable material, which has higher flame retardant performance than CM, and can slow the spread of fire in the case of fire. It is commonly used in commercial buildings where building codes require higher fire performance.
    3. CMP (General communication cable can pass through air holes): CMP is the advanced version of PVC cable material, with the highest flame retardant performance, can be used to pass through the air holes inside the building, such as air conditioning ventilation system. This material is often used in environments that require extremely high security standards, such as hospitals, data centers, etc.

    SCOPE OF USE

Local area network cables, telephone lines, home network cables, high-speed data transmission cables, other industrial and commercial, etc.

How to Distinguish CM, CMR and CMP

    1. Commercial grade -CM grade (Vertial Tray Flame Test)

This is UL standard commercial grade Cable (General Purpose Cable), applicable to the safety standard UL1581. The test required multiple samples to be mounted on a vertical 8-foot stand and burned for 20 minutes with a prescribed 20KW strip burner (70,000 BTU/Hr). The qualification criterion is that the flame cannot spread to the upper end of the cable and extinguish itself. UL1581 and IEC60332-3C are similar, only the number of cables laid is different. Commercial grade cables do not have smoke concentration specifications, generally only applied to the horizontal wiring of the same floor, not applied to the vertical wiring of the floor.

    2. Main Line class -CMR class (Riser Flame Test)

This is a UL standard commercial grade Cable (Riser Cable), applicable to the safety standard UL1666. The experiment required laying several samples on a simulated vertical shaft and using a prescribed 154.5KW gas Bunsen burner (527,500 BTU/Hr) for 30 minutes. The eligibility criteria is that the flame does not spread to the upper part of the 12-foot high room. Trunk level cables do not have smoke concentration specifications, and are generally used for vertical and horizontal floor wiring.

    3. Booster stage -CMP stage (supply air combustion Test/Steiner TunnelTest Plenum Flame Test/Steiner TunnelTest)

This is the most demanding Cable in the UL fire protection standard (Plenum Cable), the applicable safety standard is UL910, the test stipulates that a number of samples are laid on the horizontal air duct of the device, burning with 87.9KW gas Bunsen burner (300,000 BTU/Hr) for 20 minutes. The qualification criteria is that the flame must not extend beyond 5 feet from the front of the Bunsen burner flame. The maximum peak optical density is 0.5, and the maximum average optical density is 0.15. This CMP cable is usually installed in air return pressurization systems used in ventilation ducts or air handling equipment and is approved for use in Canada and the United States. The flame retardant performance of FEP/PLENUM material conforming to UL910 standard is better than that of low smoke halogen-free material conforming to IEC60332-1 and IEC60332-3 standard, and the smoke concentration is low when burning.
